Description
Dublin born, currently living in Jersey Channel Islands Lou B is a self-taught visual artist with a passion for colour and creativity. Drawing for hours on end and inspired by the colourful movements of pop art and graffiti artists of the 80s and 90s, she has been creating art from a young age.
Creating abstract portraits in the mediums of pencils, charcoals and markers and more recently moving into creating digital artwork, she likes to explore colour contrasts as well as light and shade, drawing inspiration from the iconography of modern culture of music, movies and fashion. Lou B also enjoys photography and has built up a collection of shots taken in urban, island and country landscape environments.
Aside of her art Lou B describes herself as music loving, hip hopping, Old skool, IT woman, Muay Thai student, shoe & tattoo enthusiast.
